pole saw Mar 29, 2009
By Habu` very pleased with this product,it was not only delivered in time estimated; used it on a bunch of branches and the saw was exceptional! I had a pole saw with wooden handle and it was heavy, unwieldy and tiring. this pole is lite weight, extends longer,etc.. a ten star product as far as I'm concerned. the price was another factor-cheaper than others I saw at home stores and online..Thank You...tz

Adjustable Telescoping Tree Pruner Jul 08, 2009
By Ed Baranowski -. Woodworking

I wanted a good quality tool to prune my trees and the "over hanging" limbs from my neighbor's tree. I didn't want an expensive professional trimmer since I'd be using this tool once a year. This pruner was the answer. The price would even please the late Billy Mays. It is light in weight, and breaks down for easy storage in the garden shed. One customer wrote that he broke the cord when he first used the pruner. I have to caution that.. the tool will only cut through a 1" to a 2" efficiently. I used the pruner blade for oversize branches with no extra effort. I liked the twist lock telescoping metal pole that extends the unit into a 7 foot reach range (higher if you use a step ladder like I did) My only reason not to give 5 stars is that I find it hard to locate replacement pruner blades for this model. If anyone has any idea where to look, please leave a comment reply.

Adequate Tool Aug 13, 2011
By Tom This pruner/saw is a little too flimsy for industrial use but is quite adequate for occassional use by a homeowner. The plastic collar on the telescoping handle disintergrated on the first use but doesn't seem to matter much. It is necessary to keep twisting the two handle sections to keep the tool extended. The saw is sharp but the pruner won't handle anything bigger that 1/2 to maybe 3/4 in soft green wood. Won't cut dead branches above twig size.

It was less expensive than my first choice, and i really didn't want to pay high dollar for something that would get used one/twice a year. This has worked out great. The price was good and it's light in weight and easy to clean and store away so it doesn't take up much space. Bought some extra rope in case this one breaks but so far, no problems. The saw blade is exceptional. Overall I'am pleased with purchase.
