3It's a hoe...  May 04, 2011
By John Goodin
This looked to be a good hoe, and the name brand generally means quality.
I was a bit disappointed for 20 bucks or so. The hoe head is not terribly substantial,
and the handle is quite short, and I'm but 5'7" tall.
Overall, it appears to be an import item of lackluster quality.
I would not buy this again.
Sorry, Ames True Temper..you fell short on this one with me.

update, March 2012: ...it has broken.
the shank that goes down in the handle had a small
hole for the cross pin to hold it in the handle. It was
almost as big of a hole as the shaft was, which left it
with a weak cross section around the hole.
poorly made, overpriced junk.

5WORTH EVERY PENNY  May 30, 2009
By Jack W. Wolfe
For the price this hoe is perty well made and well put togeather and the handel feels nice when you use it and so far so good. We have been working it hard and its doing the job!

4Good hoe  Jan 05, 2012
By S. Joscelyn "sh6323"
I liked the hoe, but it was too short for my boyfriend. It works great. I noticed while gardening everyone goes for my hoe rather than the wood hoe. It does not hurt my hand. We did have to sharpen it during the season, but that is because our dirt has a lot of rocks in it.

4Nice hoe  Nov 25, 2010
By J. Carter
I bought this for my husband because he wanted a hoe with a fiberglass handle. It's very nice but the handle length is too short for him (he's only 5'-9) and it is now mine.
