It does kink May 27, 2008
By K. Towe

This hose is rather heavy. It seems well constructed but it DOES kink. In fact, the second time I used it (after simply coiling it loosely on the ground) it kinked in three places as I pulled it out to reuse it. Because of the way it it constructed, if joined with another hose it tends to work itself free at the joint. I had to retighten the connection. Not sure I would buy another one, given the extra cost.

Unsatisfied Jul 08, 2009
By kh I purchased this hose four months ago and use it every weekend for common household chores. I was very disappointed to discover last weekend that this hose has sprung a LEAK. Four months and I already need to replace it? I would hardly call this a heavy-duty product, I recommend you look elsewhere for your hose requirements--

Works better than any other hose I've had... Aug 25, 2008
By J. Hansen I recently bought my first home, so never had to think about hoses before. We had gone to Lowe's and picked up just the cheapest hose they had. Figured, "Hey, it's a hose, how bad can it be?" Well, that $20 hose definitely proved how BAD it can be. The $20 Lowe's hose kinked more than any other hose I've ever used. It caused me to seriously reconsider why kind of hose I should buy to replace it.
After some research, I ended up finding this hose. Still, only around $25, I liked that it touted "never kinks." Some other reviewers indicated that it did still kink, but I bet it wouldn't kink anything like the $20 Lowe's hose, so I went ahead and purchased it.
Definitely was a good purchase. I've yet to have it kink and be completely unusable. It worked so well, I ended up purchasing another (at Target, however). I'm sure there are better hoses out there, but if they are, I'm not sure they're worth the extra money. This hose works great for the average home owner.

made same mistake twice Jun 05, 2011
By smooches something told me to go outside and check the hose i was replacing...it is in fact a neverkink...i can't believe i purchased the same product again...it has a lifetime return...but make sure that you cut out the warranty from the packaging and save your receipt...and place both where you're sure to find them...otherwise the store may refuse to exchange the hose...i would not have purchased this hose at such a high price...if i thought that in a few years, i'd be searching for old receipts and copies of the warranty....disappointed in this product

Never say never Apr 11, 2010
By D. Schubert I purchased this hose because of the "never kinks" guarantee. This hose is not worth the money because it kinks all the time. If you use it when it's less then 80 degrees not only does it kink all the time but it doesn't lay flat either. You'll spend half your time fighting the hose and tripping over it. My advice..buy a quality rubber hose not this product!
