A must for gardeners! May 23, 2007

Bamboo rakes are extremely hard to find these days. I had a little one like this for many years and finally the handle snapped in half after about 15 years of use. I couldn't find one locally, so my husband screwed the broken handle together -- that's how much I love my bamboo rake! Then I finally found this one on Amazon. I must say it's excellent quality and extremely well made. It's actually much nicer than my old one ... more substance to it. I'm very pleased with it -- and the great price. I got my order quickly too. A small bamboo rake like this ia a must for gardners. You can use it in your planting beds close to your plants without tearing them up. Bamboo rakes actually capture leaves better and are easier on your plants. The small size makes it easy to work in beds around your house or under bushes. I got myself two larger sizes also, and love those as well. Highly recommended!

Best rake in the garden shed. Oct 25, 2008
By Just Terry I do not know how anyone gets by without a bamboo rake. This little one comes in handy all the time, particularly for small clean up jobs and raking under bushes, between rows in the garden, or on small lawn areas. It is also fun and just the right size for kids who want to help. If I had a lawn, a full size version of this is all I would use for raking grass or leaves. For grass, leaves and small clean-up jobs, there is no better rake.

Rakes for little Hands Nov 12, 2010
By Sarah Stegmaier These are a hit with my kindergarteners. Their hands fit perfectly on the rakes, and we have had hours of enjoyment with the rakes. They are extremely well made.

Lawn friendly rake for tight spaces Oct 28, 2008
By Non-fiction Addiction I find many uses for these smaller sized bamboo rakes: raking around garden beds, shrubs and walls. Like their larger versions, the bamboo tines are kind to grass compared to metal or plastic tines. Be aware that the smaller width rake also has a much shorter handle; this is a rake you will use when leaning over rather than while standing upright.

Gives me a helping "hand" Oct 12, 2008
By Donna J. Knight I've been loking for a rake like this to replace a similar one I lost. It's great for "reaching" things on the floor that are out of reach and are to be sorted and/or thrown away. I know this seems funny, but it's a timesaver for me!
