2Easy to use, but only for a short time  Oct 05, 2004
By Christopher M. Veal
This unit was very easy to set up. Basically, you slide on the nozzle. Then you attach the unit to the charging base. And you plug the charger into the wall. That's it for setup!

Using the unit is also very easy. There is a single switch on top that you flip and away you go. Since the unit is completely battery operated, there are no cords or gasoline issues to worry about. The whole tool is idiot-proof.

However, with the battery on a full charge, you only have about 15 minutes of full power. After that time, the unit looses charge quickly until it only puts out a small puff of air. By then you're waving the thing around so much you might as well get a broom to do some actual work.

I give this item 5 stars for ease of use, but only 1 star for doing what it's actually intended for, which is blowing. Considering I don't normally buy blowers for any other use, I give it 2 stars overall.

5No cords, no gas!  Aug 27, 2005
By Retired in Texas
Just what I wanted and it works! Minor touch ups to blow grass clippings and it even has the power to blow pea gravel off the garage pad. Had a 2 speed higher velocity corded version previously, but the cord hassel was a no brainer. This one works!

4Great for small jobs  Dec 02, 2004
By A reviewer from Bham, AL
I really enjoy this cordless blower. Other reviews about battery life are accurate--it doesn't last long. I have a gas blower for doing heavy duty blowing, but this one is just right to quickly blow off my front walk, steps and sidewalk. And it is quiet and clean.

5I Like It!  Mar 17, 2006
By A Thoughtful Consumer
The cordless sweeper does just what it is suppose to do!It has enough power to keep my garage really clean. It does a pretty fair job of blowing out dust from power tools. It even has enough power to blow down the sidewalks after landscape work. It has a wall mount recharger so the sweeper can be stored out of the way when not in use.I really like the light weight of it,too. I find it to be a valuable addition to my garage/home.

1Another Broken Impeller  Aug 16, 2008
By Uniqua Backyardagin
Impeller broke on the unit after about 2 yrs. Very dissappointing to not be able to find a replacement part. I agree with other comments...this is irresponsible on B&D's part. I will avoid their products.
