Great bisquettes at a great price Jul 19, 2008

I use these for poultry, and they give a great smooth smoke flavor. You can't beat the price anywhere if you buy 4 boxes and get the 4-for-3 promotion. Too bad Amazon doesn't offer more flavors in this deal. Apple is the only flavor eligible for the 4-for-3 offer and free shipping.

Ribs Jul 10, 2007

While this might not have been good enough for the other reviewer I used this wood for 3 hours on 6 racks of ribs and they came out GREAT!
I love my Bradley Smoker!

Always good quality May 16, 2010
By Christopher F. Matthews I have owned my Bradley smoker for about 6 months. Apple is my favorite wood (bisquette) to use with pork and chicken. You will pay a premium for the Bradley bisquettes but the quality is always good and you can count on a good product.

Great product Mar 29, 2007
By Adrian Balls Excellent method for smoking all types of food , do not use the applewood for smoking jerky though, the flavor is too mild.

Great for giving food a lighter smoke flavor Jan 30, 2011
By Phlyfisher These pucks are great for giving food a noticeable, yet not overpowering smoke flavor. I used these bisquettes to give a small pork butt 3 hours, and then let the meat slow cook for several more hours. The smoke flavor was definitely there, but it wasn't overpowering or as strong as other woods, such as hickory. My friend who doesn't particularly care for strong smoke flavor thought the meat turned out awesome.
These pucks make smoking in the Bradley smoker extremely easy and worry-free.
The only downside is that the pucks are considerably more expensive than plain old wood chips you might use in a traditional smoker. But when you consider price vs. convenience, it's a fair trade-off in the end.
