This 2 gallon model is best, even for small fluid volume Jan 08, 2010
By FlyingPolarBear Nicely constructed! You may be trying to decide between the 1 gallon model and this 2 gallon model. The benefit of the larger model is that, for example, if you only have 1 gallon of liquid inside, there is still 1 gallon of air pocket left over that you can compress for more spraying power. If you buy the 1 gallon model and you fill it completely, then there is very little air inside that you can compress initially. This is the perfect size for easy carrying around the garden, just fill it half way with liquid and the leftover volume is a larger air spring.

Works great initially, but you need to get the replacement handle Dec 04, 2009
By Paresh Suthar Filled the tank multiple times and sprayed my whole backyard. One week later when I went to apply a second coat, the trigger handle started to pop off whenever I squeezed it. I contacted Chapin support and they are sending me the "new, redesigned trigger handle" - which makes me ask why they didn't just put it in the box in the first place.

No clog feature really works May 14, 2010
By Bruce E. Balfe I bought this because other sprayers I have tried always clog constantly and require nozzle cleaning numerous times during use. This has a screen on the end of the feed tube and it really seems to keep the nozzle from clogging. I recommend it.

great tool and great customer service May 27, 2010
By L. Myers I used it last season, it worked great. I pulled it out of the shed this spring and realized that the lever is missing. So I cannot squeeze and spray the liquid. I searched and searched, have no idea how it would dis-connect and where it would go. Called the Chapin customer service and without any question the lady just took my name and address and said it will be in the mail. No charge. Nice!

I love this sprayer. I bought two, one for organic pesticides and one for algae/fish imulsion. My plants and I are very happy
