No Fuss, No Muss Nov 06, 2006
By Jeff4U EXCELLENT sprayer! I bought this sprayer over 5 years ago. It is easy to use, holds 2 gallons, and it's easy to clean. After pumping a few times, it will spray a steady straight stream of at least 8ft - using the included 4-way adjustable tip. This makes it easy to spray around window frames, doors, and so-forth. I can easily spray 4 or 5 windows after one pumping sequence.
This stainless steel model will never rust. Mine still looks brand new. This model will simply outlast several plastic sprayers. Sure it costs more, but you'll save money over the long haul. I expect mine to last well over 10 years especially because Chapin sells a FULL LINE OF REPLACEMENT parts. (try searching Amazon)
NOTE: this model includes a handy plastic multi-spray pattern nozzle - BUT it WILL break if you drop the wand for example on concrete. Also includes a brass adjustable nozzle which I use the most.
4/5/2012 UPDATED: Just thought I'd let you know - it's been over 5 years since my original review. This sprayer still performs flawlessly ... as if I bought it yesterday.

Solid, American made quality. Jul 15, 2009
By Tom Keliher This thing is built like a tank! Pun intended! :)
It is heavy duty, solid, no cheesy plastic or pot metal. It is machined billet brass and stainless steel. I expect it could last several generations and be handed down from father to son to grandson.
The handle is comfortable and the adjustable nozzle allows it to shoot about 20' in a stream or fan out a wide and short spray pattern. Bugs, look out! Heh-heh...

Stick to B&G Sprayer, Good for Show Jun 15, 2008
By mystery It's very good looking but functuality is far from perfect, it leaks even while just walking with it. The spot thats designed to hold the wand is not great and falls while walking. I can expell 2 gallons in 3 minutes, maybe faster with all the leakage. Also, the pump doesnt add much air I have to keep pumping to get a decent amount in. Plastic tip will break if it hits floor hard. Spend the extra money and get a b&g.

Good value for the money Apr 05, 2012
By Charles A. Westbrook The Chapin Premier seems to be a lower end professional sprayer as advertised. Its quality of construction is significantly better than the "homeowner" sprayers that approach the same price group. It is probably not suitable for the commercial user who plans on daily use but more than adequate for anyone who wants a long lasting tool for occasional to frequent use. I recommend this product. Good quality for a good price.

Decent sprayer Jun 13, 2010
By Sir Not Appearing in this Review The Chapin Premier Pro is a decent sprayer. It is overpriced however. There are others out there for about $20 less that are stainless steel, etc. It is certainly better than all of those poly sprayers with plastic parts that last two seasons then shut down for good. You can also buy replacement parts so that this sprayer should give you many years of service. The complaints I have besides the cost are that it really is not very powerful. The spray is disappointing. The carrying strap is totally useless. The part that holds the wand is ineffective. The wand continually falls off. This is a basic sprayer that is likely more durable than the poly ones. It is not a "professional grade" sprayer. You will have to pay $200 plus for one of those.
