Helped to save me $300/Year on Pest Control Apr 16, 2010
By J. Amicucci I was paying a professional pest control company $300 per year to spray my house once per quarter for bugs. Like many others, I need to find ways to save money so I did a little research and learned that for the price of one of these gallon sprayers and some bug killing solution I can do my own pest control for about $20 per year! What a great savings and since I've been doing it myself, I find a lot less live bugs in my house and more dead ones. I think I do a more careful/thorough job... save money and better results!
As for this sprayer, it is a neat compact little unit that is easy to carry around the house with a gallon of liquid in it. It has good pumping action and a few pumps will last quite a while before re-pumping. The spray nozzle is adjustable and can be set from stream spray to very wide mist spray.
All in all a good unit, working great for 1.5 years now and helping me to save money.

excellent sprayer Jun 21, 2011
By L. McMillan Based on my first use I would rate this an excellent sprayer for the homeowner. The valve closed tight as soon as the handle was released and did not allow any residual drip to occur unlike a Solo sprayer that I recently returned to Costco. The nozzle easily adjusted from a fine, cone shaped mist to a stream. All parts screwed together tight and it pumped up and held the pressure with minimal effort. I would have given it five stars if it had a pressure release valve. Great deal for the money from a NY based manufacturer.

Great product Sep 02, 2011

This was pretty easy to put together. The pump pressurizes the sprayer in about 6 pumps and stays pressurized for a long time. I tried it for the first time today. I applied a gallon of a natural pesticide to my veggie garden and I only had to pump it about 4 separate times.
It works much better than the cheesy sprayer that came with my Roundup. I'll probably be buying another of these next spring when the weeds pop out everywhere.

Great little sprayer! Aug 09, 2011
By J. Mendez After years of fooling with more expensive sprayers that worked for a limited time, we discovered this one and will never look back. Works perfectly to spray our horses with fly repellent. Great little nozzle, lightweight and easy to use all at a great price.

Works well Jul 06, 2011
By HOaKIE84 I always bought sprayers at Lowes or Home Depot and they don't last very long and gum up very easily. The Chapin sprayer works very well and I am pleased so far. Been using it for a few months.
