The Big Easy Oil-Less Turkey Fryer Apr 20, 2010 I love the Char-Broil Big Easy Oil-Less Infrared Turkey Fryer. I took it to work, and the guys won't let me bring it home. It cooks great, and because you don't cook with oil, it's a great savings, too! I would recommend this cooker to the serious cook and the novice as well.
BIG EASY Apr 12, 2010 I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS. HE LOVES IT. WE HAVE NOT COOKED A TURKEY IN IT YET. WE HAVE BOUGHT THE OTHER RACKS AND HAVE COOKED CHICKEN IN IT. THE CHICKEN REALLY HAS A GOOD FLAVOR AND IS JUICEY. WE HAVE FOUND IT TAKES LONGER THAN THE 8-10 MINUTES PER POUND THAT OTHERS HAVE CLAIMED BUT IS WORTH THE WAIT.

Not just for turkey Mar 21, 2010 Let me start by saying I am not a seasoned cook nor do I BBQ; however, when I saw this I was excited to try it. I picked one up from a local hardware store and rushed home. First was a turkey, that turned out great but then I cooked a ham in the cooker. It was amazing! I cooked the ham while at my parents place and they had company over. Everyone thought it was wonderful and wanted to know when I was going to cook with it again. I have done ribs in there a few times and they turn out great also. How much easier can it get? Turn it on, put in the meat, and wait until the desired temp. You don't have to worry about watching or basting. I like the fact that I can spend more time relaxing with my guests. If you're wondering what it can do other than turkey, there is a forum where people discuss all the different things they've cooked with it, recipes and tips. [...]

Great cooker Mar 16, 2010 I've cooked three meals so far and they all came out great. Chicken, rib roast, and pork loin all came out delicious. The manufacturer's website has recipes and great tips can be found on the forums at 'sizzleonthegrill'. I gave it four out of five because I haven't found this cooker leaves the outside of the meat really crispy like frying. I consider this to be more of a stationary rotisserie rather than a true substitute for a fryer. If you keep that in mind, you will be happy with your purchase. My BigEasy will get a lot of use during the outdoor cooking season!! I cooked potatoes with the rib roast and pork loin and they came out great too.
Get the kabob hangers, great accessory.
