Horribly made and cheap material Sep 03, 2010 In the 4 years I have owned a Char Griller I have bought 2 of these - and now I need to buy a third because it has ripped in every conceivable spot. Also faded within a few weeks. Wish this was better quality and there were alternatives. Considering using a generic cover and then figuring out what to do for the spout.
Don't waste your money Jul 15, 2010 The Char-Griller with the side smoking box is an excellent smoker/griller. Far superior to its cousin, the Char-broiler. But this review is for the cover. Don't waste your money. The sharp edges of the wooden slats will tear this cover before the end of your first season of grilling. I keep my Char-griller in the garage so I don't need the cover anymore. Too bad that they don't make a heavy duty cover similar to the covers that Weber makes for their grills. Those covers are quality.

Awfully thin Apr 16, 2010 This cover is so thin you can hold it up to the sun and see some light transmission. There's no way that this cover would last beyond one season and now way that it will/would offer protection to your grill from the elements, certainly not a winter season.
I returned the product to Amazon for a refund.

Average grill cover Mar 26, 2010 THis grill cover is only good for about 2 years max in the Texas heat. After 2 yrs the sun, heat, wind, etc. leaves this thing in tatters. It doesn't just hold up. But, it is hard to find a grill cover for my Kingsford grill that is shaped similarly.

Needs a cover for itself. Jan 10, 2010 It's not really designed or engineered for the outdoor elements. I question the designer or engineer for using the materials and claiming it is a cover to protect the grill from the elements. It can't even protect itself from the elements. It faded to white in about 2 months and ripped in about 4 months. Wouldn't buy it again. Try to match up a better cover for a large grill at a BBQ supply store or similar, that's what I'm going to do.
