I got this for my dad because he loves to grill. It's great because you can flip all of the kabobs in one easy turn and the non stick makes cleanup a breeze. The only drawback is that if you like to put all of your veggies on one stick, meat on another, etc. because of the different cooking times, it can be a bit of a fuss.

I purchased this very same item in a TJMaxx store a week prior to ordering it on Amazon. It cost $9.99 and I was impressed with the quality of the Charcoal Companion Kabob Basket. When I returned to TJMaxx to purchase a second kabob basket, I found that they were sold out of that item. I then googled the item and found the exact same model number for sale on Amazon.com (DTYdirect) at $17.99 plus S & H costs of $6.99. I was disappointed that the kabob basket was more expensive on Amazon, but I really liked the quality of the Charcoal Companion basket that I originally purchased at TJMaxx, so I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived from DTYdirect in a timely manner, but I was disappointed to find that the quality of the item was inferior and shoddy in construction compared to the exact same model number that I purchased at TJMaxx. This item is "Made in China" so I don't know whether to blame the Chinese for the shoddy construction or Charcoal Companion for poor quality control. What a disappointment.
