Works great Jul 24, 2009
By E. M. Creech Good design. The low weight and latching trigger make it easier to hold. Trigger automatically latches and releases when you press a catch at the top of the trigger. Separate adjustments for flow and spread. It will be interesting to see how it holds up with time in the sun.

As a stand alone it is a decent product Jul 22, 2010
By Jimbone It works good as a spray nozzle. But the whole point of purchasing these nozzle was to get the benefit of the quick connect function. I never got the water stop function of the quick connect set to work properly ( I gave the quick connect set a poor review).

Great sprayer - Small issue with female hose connection Jun 28, 2010
By Frequent Amazon'er This is a great sprayer ( as well as the Claber Spray Pistol Garden Hose Nozzle 8967) the only issue I have is with the female hose end on it.
This is a plastic hose disconnect system, where I have the metal and rubber versions from a big box store.
The male quick disconnect ( from the big box store ) does not seem to have enough threads to mate to the end of the female hose end on the sprayer adapter ( i.e. it is too deep for the 0.467" of male thread on the adapters I have ). I also have this problem on my Water Right hoses ( those are short metal thread lengths with a hex head "helper" on them It is 75 Ft. Drinking Water Safe Polyurethane Watering Hose with Bonus Quality Spray Nozzle). My Goodyear hoses do not have this problem ( they look like a standard male adapter without a shoulder or hex head adapter ).
I don't want to reinvest in all new hose quick disconnections ( the plastic type this uses ) so I am going to try filing the end of the female hose end down, install a standard hose washer and remove the disconnect parts in the plastic side ( don't want to chance the short cut "double ring" method that never works correctly ).
Just take a look at your hose ends prior to ordering, to see if there is something that would stop the female end from screwing down quite far ( 0.473" deep ).
I do not have this issue with the Rainbird hose sprayers I normally use. I hope the slight modification works, as these sprayers are that nice.
