Great item, great price Mar 31, 2006
By C.L.B. At 20 bucks or less, this is quite a good bargain. Multiple ways to mount it, it is plenty bright enough and the neck is actually almost too long. I keep mine curled a little. I'm quite sure this would work fine on even the larger grills. I don' understand the previous reviewer that pretty much says good things and then gives it one star. It is well built and does exactly what it says very well. Don't guess at it in the dark, get one of these!

Nice for the grill Mar 13, 2006

Used this for grilling after dark. Works well - clamps on to the surface well and the telescopic light positions easily. The LED's are bright enough, the output is a pure white light - just have to adjust.

Great little light. Feb 25, 2006
By Warren C. Jones I purchased to use on my Dewalt slide compound miter saw. Makita saw has a built in light and I thought it was a great idea. Lack of good lighting on most job sites makes this light a must have.
Clamp works well, have not tried magnetic mount yet due to everything with the saw is aluminium. Gooseneck is well made and infinitely adjustable.Made in China- should be a few bucks less than it is but overall a decent value for my purpose.

It ain't water resistant Nov 13, 2006
By PenMangler bought one of these, plenty of light, mountable anywhere on the grill, but do not leave it out on the grill. The directions lead me to beleive it was weatherproof and therefore could hack the environment. After about two rain showers, Poof!
So, if you get one, take it off the grill and put it in the house between uses, and don't use if in a rainy situation.

Excellent for my needs. May 09, 2006

I have a Weber 18 1/2" grill, and I clamp this to the handle whenever I'm grilling at night. It does not get in the way of the lid at all and casts plenty of light targeted wherever I need it. When I'm done, I just twist the knob a few times to unclamp it, take the light inside, and store it away.
All I needed was a light that was bright enough and didn't get in my way or become a hassle, and this one accomplishes all of that, so I see no problem with giving this 5 stars.
