5Old and trimming the grass  Aug 30, 2010
As we get older it is harder to get up and down trimming the grass.This Fiskars 9210 helps take care of the problem.

I've had these a couple months now and I'm very happy with them. They cut very good and are easy to use. I use them for all the places I can't do with the weed whacker like around the pool screen room. They are lightweight and easy to use

This grass shear is very well made and easy to adjust for vertical/horizontal use. I find it very easy to use and it eliminates the bending over that I was doing with my previous shears. I recommend it to anyone that wants to trim a small area. When doing a very large area, I use an electric string timmer.

Purchased these grass shears as a gift for a 70-year-old female gardener for the purpose of keeping her off her hands and knees while trimming grass from the edges of her flower beds. The shears are relatively light-weight, and the mechanism you repeatedly squeeze to activate the cutting blades is comfortable and not overly tiring to operate. The length of the handle keeps her completely upright, and the cutting head rotates to cut either horizontally or vertically; in addition, the sharpness of the blades appears to be excellent. The recipient loves the shears and they've made her hobby more enjoyable. Would definitely purchase these again.
