avoid metal bubblers Apr 08, 2010
By Lund Wolfe I had two very cheaply constructed Gardien Waterworks metal bubblers and both fell apart at the hose end connection in less than two months. The Gilmour metal bubbler looks identical and is probably made in the same factory so I'd only buy the green plastic one.

Great for deep watering trees and newly planted bushes May 26, 2009
By M. Green I have several of these to water trees and bushes to get them established and for the periodic watering needed to avoid shallow roots if a drip irrigation system is used (especially here in the desert). Yes these have a tendency to break from banging around but all you have to do is go to Home Depot or Lowes and get some JB Weld for metal, mix some up, apply at the joint and around the hose adapter base and it is stronger than ever. These are hard to find locally but necessary for quick deep watering while preventing erosion from a full force hose.

Hard to Find Aug 04, 2011
By Roger W. Kinsman I found a Bubbler. It only took me a month of Sundays and I had to go online to do it when I did. I looked all over my city from Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart and many local business' and nothing. I found this one on Amazon.com and I was so happy I did. To tell the story I have to start by saying I have a bad back and it is hard for me to stand for any amount of time. This summer I tried planting what I call a garden, it consist of 2 tomatoe plants, 1 bell pepper, 1 yellow banana pepper, 1 long green chili and of course 1 jalapino pepper. The thing is I planted them all in large pots so I wouldn't have to deal with bending over pulling weeds/grass from the ground and it makes them where the ground level around the plants in the pots are about a foot off the ground. So again not as much of a bend when needed. Well I tried watering using just a hose and the force from the hose would dig into the ground because of the soil in the pots are mostly potting soil so not as firm and regular ground dirt. Well the only want around this was to water at a really low pressure as to not disturb the soil in the pots as badly. Now I have the bubbler and my gosh has it made a difference. I can water all 6 plants in about the time it took to water just one before and not worry about the soil. The bubbler seems to be made fairly good but time will tell the true story there. If I have any issues with the quality I will come back and add to my little report...but for now for me anyway it is a god send, it is great.
Nice! May 08, 2012
By LizaMoniQ Good quality, reasonably priced, and shipped promptly. These bubblers water my garden gently and efficiently. I can't do without them!
