2There are better brushes  May 11, 2012

I like silicone basting brushes for all the obvious reasons - easy to clean and no bristles fall off. I bought these because they were inexpensive and I thought the angled brush might be nice. I used them a couple of times and went back to my others. These brushes don't seem to hold enough sauce take too many brush strokes relative to others available.

The GrillPro 41090 2-piece Silicone Basting Brush makes adding BBQ sauce easy! The silicone brush holds and applies the sauce without tiny brush fibers falling off like traditional basting brushes. I recommend you try these basting brushes! They're awesome!

These are well made and sold at a good price. They work great, hold a lot of sauce, they don't shed bristles on your food and they are way more sanitary. I would recommend these to replace any brushes you have made out of any other material. Silicone is a definite improvement.
