Flimsy, but for the price, what would you expect? May 27, 2008

This pot arrived very poorly packed and dented as a result. (the metal is so thin that this comes as no surprise)
The faucet is very, very badly designed and built. Mine leaks.
Other options are out there. I'd stay away from this one.

Your kidding me... Dec 23, 2010
By William Wyatt So it's a 30 qt pot. Not much to it. Should be fine right?
I use it about twice a month to heat 4 gallons of water to 170 degrees F. It has a Turkey Rack so clearly it was ment to fry turkeys in extremly hot oil.
Back to the point I was heating water the freak'n spigot broke off! Yeah! This is probably the 35th time I've used it. As pointed out above I have only heated water in it and not even to boiling.
Spilling several gallons of 170 degree water was a mess, but can you imagine if I had been using it to fry turkeys! This could have been deadly.
Definitly DO NOT get this pot.

Do not buy this pot! May 10, 2008

Do not buy this pot! It leaks at the spigot and is impossible to fix. How anyone could use this without lighting oil on fire is beyond me.

Poor quality Jul 29, 2008
By Charles Vick I am disappointed with this pot. As soon as I opened it, I discovered that it was dent right at the spigot. The first thing that I did was to fill it with water to see if it leaked. Since it didn't leak I decided to keep it rather than go through the hassle of a return.

Low Cost, Leaks Nov 13, 2010
By Lonnie N. Smith This pot was priced very low, so I don't really feel like I got ripped off, but I will say I am quite frustrated that the spigot leaked right out of the box. (thats the seal where it punches through the pot, not the spigot itself. It isn't a huge leak so MIGHT still serve my brewing purposes, but we shall see. I am going to attempt to pull the spigot out and clean it and put it back in... I would say avoid this pot if you can, the leak sort of ruins it, especially if you will be using oil (though oil may leak less than water).
