Terrible Product Sep 15, 2009
By Darren S. Mitchell Only got it started once...after 30 minutes of trying. A few days later, I tried to start it again and after 40 minutes I threw it in the garbage. Total piece of junk. Will never buy a McCulloch product again.

Junk Nov 07, 2010
By Tea Totaler The spring that operates the starter pull broke after I got it started the first time. Repaired it myself, and it held for another 4 starts, then broke again. When I disassembled it for the second repair, found the spring irreparable (broken in 2 places), and the plastic linkage between the pull and the crank was now missing. How a piece of junk like this makes it to market is beyond me.

30cc McCullock Air Stream Oct 31, 2011
By deak This is A Great Machine!! I've Had It For Three Days Now, And Worked It Almost 10 Hours Each Day! Living In northern Michigan I Have Alot of Leaves!! Love The EASY START Pull Cord!!( wish my chainsaws had it ),WHY Anyone Had Trouble Starting This Machine I'll Never Know!!You Just Have To Be SMARTER Than It OR READ The Owners Manual!!!! Now If I Can Only Get Mother Nature To Give Me Acouple of Dry Days, I'll Be Able To Be Done For This Season!!!

Pull rope broke after 4 uses. Can't find an authorized service center to get it repaired with. Unfortunately I didn't buy from Amazon (Amazon's service is STELLAR!!) because I wanted to buy locally. Now I have to fight them or dispute the charges...

POS May 09, 2011
By AD First one I got never started. Amazon replaced it promptly(Kudos to Amazon). Replacement worked a couple of times, then pull starter came out. Took to authorized repair shop, that is open 9-5 M-F.(I have a job, so I lost work time!) They kept it a month. Got it back, and it worked fine, for a season. Provided you followed a set routine for starting it. Pull cord broke again, yesterday. After a 30 ft shot put, I threw it in the trash. Should have bought a Stihl,. At twice the price, it would have worked out cheaper!
