This platter is only large enough to hold a very small steak or a sandwich. It also very thin and light (read flimsy). I do not recommend it.

This platter is large enough for a steak, but no side dishes. My only problem here with Amazon is the price. Usually Amazon is so good, but these exact $25 platters here--today they're $45-- are available on the Home Depot site for $8. There they call them sizzling platters and can be a little hard to find, but certainly worth the search for the price difference.

We love these platters!!! We also have a large one for cooking several items. The only thing we don't like is the appearance of the platter after using the shortening on it. It turns a golden brown and will not come back to its original metal appearance.
