The measurements are a bit misleading. They are the size of the cover and not the size of the grill it will fit. It works well on my grill that measures 25" deep X 52" long X 47" high. This is the largest size I would want to put it on. It comes down to about 4" off the ground but the corners would be too tight if the grill was any larger.
It is made a very heavy material and constructed well. You are supposed to be able to put it on when the grill is still hot but I have not had the nerve to try it yet.

What a deal. I purchased this cover for my Kenmore grill that is 52.5" x 22" x 46" and it fits perfect. A previous review helped me in deciding whether or not it would fit my grill. I love it because it's made of a thick heavyweight material, not the cheapo thin plastic ones you get the hardware store. There are two velcro pieces on both sides at the bottom so the cover doesn't blow away. I haven't used it in a big storm yet, but it seems very durable. Anything is better than the draw string that many covers have at the bottom...the ones that you can never tighten because the plastic is so cheap. I also haven't tried throwing it over the grill while the grill is still warm. For the quality and price, you can't be beat this cover.

I took a chance and ordered this, hoping it would fit our Charbroil smoker bbq, and it did! Very durable material and velcro tabs at the bottem to make for a snug fit so the cover can't blow off. Just what we needed to keep our charcoal bbq protected. And the price was great, too! Thanks Amazon! Rick

I have been through a lot of grill covers - this one is BY FAR the best cover I have ever purchased. I just went out to use my grill today, and had to move some snow off of it to get to my grill. I was thinking about how much abuse this cover has had, and that it is still in great condition. So I decided to go to my Amazon purchase history to see when I purchased this grill cover. June 2007!!! And this cover has lived it's life in very adverse conditions. Living at 8000 feet elevation in the Sierra mountains, with no patio cover at all. It has sat on my deck, in South facing sun every day for nearly 3 years, sometimes covered in snow and always with high altitude sun on it and it still has MUCH life left in it. I expect that it will last for at least a couple of more years. I have purchased lesser grill covers that have shredded to pieces within a year. And I can't believe I only paid 20 bucks for this cover!! Serious value, I would not buy any other grill cover. As for the dimensions, my grill is on the smaller side, so their is ample room, cannot comment on others' reviews about the sizing. Get this grill cover!!!

The best grill cover out there May 15, 2006

This grill cover is exactly what we were looking for and puts the others with drawstring closures to shame. The material is durable and the side velcro closures keep the grill cover from blowing off no matter what. Best of all, the $$ is cheap and you will pay at least double anywhere else. We bought the medium size cover for our Char-Broil average size grill and it fits perfectly, the large size would probably be too big.
