Poor Performance and Customer Service Jul 04, 2007

I couldn't find this exact product earlier, so I left my extensive review under a Power Glide product I don't own. But I do own the blower and the trimmer. They are awful. They do not live up to the battery performance advertised as 25-30 minutes. That is a joke. If they last 5-10 minutes, you're doing well. I have exchanged them twice, so I have tried 6 batteries--all with the same result. The manual is contradictory, leaving you without solid information about how to treat the batteries. Customer service doesn't really exist. The couple of times I actually got someone on the phone, she really had no background to deal with my problems or answer my questions. Now when I call, I get a busy signal no matter what time of day or day of the week, and even when I hang on the line, I finally am told to leave a voicemail and I will be called back--never happens. Either they are overwhelmed with complaints or it is their devious way of avoiding responsibility. Even this seller never answered my email. Be kind to yourself, and do not buy this brand at all, and definitely not the cordless products.
