3Light duty blower  Jul 23, 2008
By Zzyzx
This blower - I'd rather call it an air broom - is compact and well built. The battery removal and installation is a quick and convenient. The charger attaches to the detached battery with a slide clip. The air broom performs well after the battery is fully changed but the blowing force drops off fairly quickly after about 10 minutes of use. This air broom is effective for light duty tasks such as when the material to be moved isn't heavy, sticky, or wet. This "blower" is no match for the corded blower models however is quick and easy to use for light duty cleaning tasks. Buy it if you want to use it for moving dust or easily moved leaves and grass. Anything heavier then those really calls for the use a corded or gas blower.

1Terrible product  Jun 08, 2008
By B. Smith "typical consumer"
Weak blower. Loses charge quickly. Stopped working entirely after 4 uses.
Best to look/buy elsewhere.

1didn't work at all  May 21, 2008
By Diane Chapman
Product worked pretty well. However after two uses it went completely blatto and would not blow at all. Called the company and with receipt they indicated they would send another. We'll see if this one is better.

4Works Good for Small to Medium Jobs  Jun 23, 2010
By R. Johnson
Works good for anything I have asked of it. I mostly use it to move grass after mowing. Does that very well. I have also used it to blow sand, dust and leaves out of the garage. Since it is a NiCad based battery, you have to practice good battery care. Meaning, you need to run the battery down to very low charge before recharging or risk damaging battery. I have had mine for two seasons now with no reduction in battery life or product breakdown even after sitting through winter months. Charge usually lasts me clearing grass after mowing 2-3 occassions. Good product for what I expected.

1Didn't last long  Jan 25, 2009
By R. Kister
I purchased this unit from Menards last summer. It's not a strong leaf blower but if you need something portable for light jobs then this unit theoretically would do the job. The problem I'm seeing with mine is the battery no longer makes good contact. My unit really has very little use and I was quite dissapointed when it failed. The battery warranty is just 6 months and although it failed within that mark I didn't get it taken care of. I'm sure it's just a defective battery. My fear is that they are all poorly designed batteries and do I want to drop $40 on a replacement or just toss the whole unit and buy something I can trust for $80.

I'm rambling. Point is this is an off-brand tool and lots of people are complaining about poor quality. Do your homework before buying this product.
