Rion 6x8 Silver Greenhouse May 26, 2008
By Privateer Captain The greenhouse is worth the money, but be mindful that you get what you pay for. What can one expect for $600?? The frame is very strong, and it's important to remember to leave the nuts/bolts loose during setup and to tighten them only when you're done. The panels proved to be the most difficult to put in place and we had to clip the corners in order for them to fit correctly. We found that a solar-powered fan (purchased on eBay for $30) and mounted into the top peak panel was needed to improve air flow and to exhaust the warm air. The panels seem very, very thin at first, but once installed we were amazed at how well they stood up to the weather. Also, you may want to consider spray-painting the frame with Rustoleum prior to installing the panels, otherwise the aluminum and steel parts are prone to oxidation. We like this greenhouse, and plan on buying a second one.

My Wife Loves This Greenhouse Dec 26, 2007
By David C. Vandagriff Received the greenhouse quickly. We were worried about putting it together after reading other reviews. I put the frame together by myself in about 4 hours. It then took two of us about 2 - 3 hours to put the panels on and finish the assembly. Only problem is with the bolts, be careful, they are easy to break off when tightening the nuts. That is the only negative we have. Greenhouse is very sturdy and looks great. Highly recommend!!!

Nice for what it is Jan 12, 2008

Greenhouses are expensive, and I the adage, you get what you pay for is true. We have bought cheaper greenhouses that have not lasted. So we splurged on this small house to save our plants over the winter. It is well worth the amount of money it cost AND once we figured it out, very easy for two people to put together.
We are very pleased with our product that we purchased.

Holy hell. Do not attempt assembly, period. May 07, 2008
By Emil C. Desbiens What a nice little greenhouse once you get it assembled.
I am HANDY - more than twenty years as a Carpenter and more than forty years around tools and a do-it-yourselfer Pro. But I did this project by myself. That is not recommended. While I have these tools that help like having a second pair of hands - they were not a second pair of hands.
The sales page said it could take two people 4-5 hours to assemble this greenhouse. It took me a solid 8 hours to do the project by myself.
First item of note, is the number of pieces that came in the boxes. There were a lot. and they each have a number on them, with either a sticker or stamped into the piece. The biggest key is the bolts. They a aluminum!! And when the instructions say to be careful when tightening bolts they really mean it. They DO NOT give you nearly enough extras to replace the ones you break off. But first you have to assemble the entire project while you leave all of these bolts loose ("only 2-3 turns, do not tighten"). Only when you have the entire project done do you tighten the bolts. There are a lot of bolts to tighten.
The greenhouse has very little R-value but warms quickly on sunny days. The greenhouse also should be sold with a solar vent opener standard and a better roller system on the door.
BUT, what this whole package needs most of all is more simple directions and fewer pieces to assemble. And so since I will have to heat this greenhouse come winter and I have to buy a solar vent opener for the one vent I do in fact like this greenhouse and it makes a cozy little space for my work and my plants. Plus this winter it will afford me a chance to winter garden the veggies I would have otherwise bought.

Appearance that deceives Jul 10, 2009
By Brent Thomas This greenhouse looks nice however the plastic strips that hold the windows in are difficult to secure properly and will pop-out when the wind blows or the sun heats them up so they curl-up and come out. We contacted the company and they sent more strips which I decided to "glue" into place with my caulking gun and some clear silicone. It was still difficult to get all the windows secure. We finally took the thing apart and returned it.
