love the iron hose bucket Jun 19, 2008
By Kim Ludwigson I purchased the "Strathford Iron Hose Bucket with Copper Finish" and I am so pleased that I am planning on ordering another. It came packed well, it looks better than in the picture and after comparing prices with other hose buckets - I felt that it exceded everyone elses by far!

just about perfect Jul 16, 2010
By N. MOORE I looked a lot of hose pots, some with lids and some without, some with center posts and some without, some pretty tacky looking, too. This one is just about perfect for my needs. It is attractive and looks good sitting on the end of my front porch. I find the center post helpful in coiling the hose back into it neatly and the 3 drainage holes work well. Upon actual use, I'm happier without a lid than with one, as the hose does not show above the rim and it gets more air circulation, which means faster drying and less of a chace mosquitos will thrive in tiny puddles of water. The price was quite reasonable compared to some I looked at that were over $200 but still not as attractive. Unless you have an exceptionally large garden hose, this should hold it comfortably.

Smaller than advertised Sep 03, 2009
By D. W. Lunt I was looking for something nice for my side yard hose. Hose is two 50' lengths of 5/8" garden hose. This was advertised as good for that length. It would be if I wanted to spend 20 minutes coiling into a tight wind. That is not what I want to do. I assume more hassle to return it than it is worth to me. So I use it in the backyard with 50' of 5/8" hose. Works well there, looks nice. Easy to coil in a 50' length.
For the side yard I went to Lowes and bought a hose rack for half the price of this bucket.

It was definitely what I expected! Aug 26, 2010
By LDashner After reviewing everyone else's review, I was fully aware of what to expect... which was great, actually... we use it by our front door to water our front garden... a perfect size...doesn't tip over...can re-wind the hose back in with ease... delivery was on time... would recommend this product to anyone ...

By David T. Patterson It looks very nice, but is to light in weigh to pull hose with out tipping it over.
