Pool Deck Box Sep 30, 2008
By Marie Love the box. Holds lots of poolside toys. Bench top is secure and watertight, and best part is, you can sit on it!

Great Weather-proof Storage Sep 14, 2009
By cybersherrif This is basically the first time I have assembled something without tools. Everything snaps together perfectly and stays assembled as well. Light enough to lift, but strong enough to sit on. I am now using it to store outdoor furniture covers.

Good deck box - not hard to assemble Jun 29, 2011
By R. LaMee After buying one at a local pool store, my wife requested another and I found it cheaper on Amazon. Since the one from the pool store came assembled, I read some of the assembly complaints and was worried. Actually, it worked out fine.
The unit seems a bit flimsy at first, but I've sat on it, dragged it up a ladder to my deck and packed it solid with junk -- no complaints. After reading the horror stories, I was very methodical about putting it together. Everything went together smoothly and I was done in less than 10 minutes. The only gotcha was that I was trying to put the sides into the base with the base facing the wrong way. It didn't go, so I didn't force it... checked the instructions and it went fine after that. I'm not sure how it's possible to mess it up unless you get in a hurry or try to force things together. Really amazing how easy it was.

Nice Deck Box May 25, 2011
By Velomax I find the Suncast DB8000BW Pool Deck Box to be well constructed. Some care in assembly is necessary to make certain everything fits well and fast. There was one overlooked piece of flash from molding which I needed to cut off. I use the box outdoors to store my bbq supplies including the wood and fuel which can not get wet. So far the box has functioned perfect and hasn't even been damaged by 400 lbs of fat people sitting on it. Due to the large size of the box, I am certain it can be overloaded to the point of breaking but under normal use the container, wheels and handles should due fine. Although the lid has never lifted even in high winds, I wish it had a nice cam latch. The friction latch hardly functions. I would recommend this product. It really helps neaten, organize and adds storage.
