It is amazing what fits inside this container, but not perfect. May 12, 2008
By D. Bowman
"Tech Dork"
I bought this to store all of my patio furniture cushions.
I was able to fit the following:
* 4 chair seat bottoms
* 1 lower 2-seater bench cushion
* 1 thick 2-seater back bench cushion
* 2 large swivel chair bottom cushions
* 2 thick swivel chair back cushions
These cushions max out every inch of the space inside, but it is exactly'
what I wanted.
The only complaint I have is the cheesy plastic loops that "help" keep the lid open.
This was a very cheap solution. I own other containers like this that actually have
a gas stay inside. I would have paid a few dollars more to have a better device like that.
Sadly, no one else makes a container this big. So this is kind of your only choice out there.
Another note, if you are going to put this beside a wall, it will have to sit several inches
away from the wall to allow the lid to open all of the way. This item is so huge, it is kind of a bummer
that the design forces you to have it out so far from the wall. My house is made of stucco, so repeated
banging into the wall creates bald spots on the stucco, this is a problem for us.
It was super easy to put together. I was done in just a few minutes. Don't worry about all of those complaints.
If you need a lot of storage, you can't do better than this one. Size is it's strength.
Just remember, you are not paying for something made of bricks, it is inexpensive and made of plastic.
If you keep this in mind, you will not be disappointed.

Worked for me Oct 26, 2006

I purchased this box to house my new pool maintenance equipment. It took longer to unpack it than it did to assemble. The instructions were brief but clear and I got it together in 10 minutes. We used it for 6 months now and we are quite pleased with it. It cleans easily with a rinse on the outside and a portable vacuum inside. I sit on it safely and comfortably with my 260 pound frame. I paid a lot less than the current price and am completely happy with my purchase.

Spacious, But Flimsy! Oct 16, 2007

In short:
I really, really like how spacious this deck box is inside, but putting it together, you have to apply pressure to the panels to get them to snap together and snap they did. Two tabs snapped off after moderate pressure was applied to the panels (front panel and back panel).
I'm hoping I will never have to move this because although it takes my weight when I sit on it (150 lbs.), moving it around makes it sway back and forth like some cardboard box.
I'm admittedly too lazy to return it, but I don't think I would buy this brand again.

Super Storage Jun 27, 2007
By Carolyn S. Cecil I was searching for an outside storage box for my patio chairs. This box had the right measurements, so I ordered it. It arrived within 2 days! It was very lightweight enough for me to get it to my backyard by myself, easy to assemble and set in place. It is the exact size that I wanted and works perfectly.
