Love These! Make Hauling Easy. May 26, 2011
By K. Carson
"KC"
I own two trugs in this size. I'm back to buy three more.
I use the ones I have in the garden. I mix my soil mixes in them. I tote compost and mulch in them (no wheelbarrow). I carry seedlings in them. I haul shrubs around in them when I'm transplanting. Sometimes I even put my daughter in one to make her laugh.
I can't say enough good things about these. They're strong. They're long-lived if stored out of sunlight (three years old and as good as the day I bought them). They're comfortable to use. They're easy to store. The flexibility allows you to lift quite a bit of weight, because it keeps it really close to your body. They just meld to you when you lift them. The handles never cut into your palms or pinch like 5-gallon-buckets. These are better than 5-gallon buckets in every possible way: larger capacity, yet they somehow feel lighter, even full, and are easier to store because they nest and bend. Tubtrugs are the greatest!
I'm buying my next 3 size large to use as hampers for laundry. I've been using big tupperware things for ages, but I hate them. I know these will be much more comfortable. Each one will hold about a load of laundry. I want a small size, too, for harvesting my veggies. I know it will live longer than the wooden basket I used to use.
You could also use these for all sorts of other things. Put ice in them and stick drink bottles in them when having a party. Keep one in a play area and use it as a toy box. Have a bunch of awkward stuff to carry? Throw it in and make it easy! Wash your dog in one. Heck, they're food safe, so you can even eat or drink from them.

Great bucket Nov 29, 2010
By Press Punch

This bucket is the perfect for size for laundry. Easy to carry and soft enough to pull together and carry by both handles. I just wish they qualified for Amazon Prime Shipping. But they are well worth the money.

Very Helpful Nov 05, 2009
By Caitlin Murdock I love my Tubtrug! I use it to bring vegetables in from my garden. The 10 gal is actually a little bit too big for my purposes, but it works great. I have also used it to carry water to my garden. Great product!

makes a great toy box Aug 19, 2011
By C. Wampler I use 2 of these as toy boxes, love the range of colors. The child can reach in without opening a lid, and fall into the soft sides while learning to walk without getting hurt. Holds three or four stuffed animals and several books. Not childish so I won't have to throw them out as the child grows. I can use these in so many ways that they will long outlive their toy box function.

Beautiful Trugs! Feb 01, 2011
By R. Foster Trugs are without a doubt my favorite garden tool. Forget 5-gallon buckets, and get a trug! They come in beautiful colors, are seemingly indestructible (though lightweight)and have many uses. After a few years outside they can look a little shabby, but they are just as sturdy and useful as the day they came home with me. I have three of them - one a brand new purple one I can't wait to use.
Update - the new Tubtrugs I purchased are not the same quality as the first one I bought. They have all shattered in one way or another - one when I was thumping it to remove dirt, one at the handles. Very disappointed. I still have the first one I bought, and now wonder what the difference is with that one.
