We use this rake to even out sand for a makeshift "beach" volleyball court. Despite uneven terrain, the rake has made a tremendous difference in how the coarse sand looks and feels, breaking up clumps and evening out the surface. When I opened the package, I thought it would be too big. I was wrong. The rake is just large enough to cover sufficient area without being too heavy. This was money well spent.

1Maybe good for sand but thats about it  Oct 06, 2010

Professional Landscape use put this rake to shambles after 2 jobs. Bent the alum. tines over and tweeked the entire head of the rake. Wasn't even heavy use just leveling out fresh graded topsoil. Wish I would of paid this price though would not be as bent out of shape about it.

I read other peoples reviews of a lake rake and decided to try a landscape rake. Drilled a hole in the handle, added rope, tied on a brick and it works great for dragging seaweed out of the pond. Maybe longer tines would be better but it works for me.
