Lasts a long time, good flavor Jun 02, 2011
By Kate Being new to smoking we weren't sure which wood to go with. So we bought Apple, Pecan, and Mesquite. I think Apple is my favorite flavor but all had great results. The bags have lasted multiple smokings and don't require to be soaked in water for 24 hours to get a good smoke out of them (seems like some woods require a long soak time). Again, I'm not a pro, but thats how we felt about them!

Review from a non-smoker.... Dec 19, 2010
By Dana I'll start out by saying I am not a big smoker fan. I bought my husband a Masterbuilt electric smoker for our anniversary last year and starting playing with it. I can't stand mesquite at all so we decided to try apple - hoping the smokey taste would be to my liking. These wood chips are excellent! The taste for our Thanksgiving turkey was amazing and I would definitely buy these again.

Good chips, if you can't get them local. Nov 28, 2010
By E. Jimenez They are good chips, you get a bag a little larger than the size of a gallon of water.
Apple and cherry wood smoked brisket is just awesome!

Apple Wood Chips Feb 03, 2012
By Poppajoe49 I'm a little disappointed in myself for buying these without shopping around. I was in Home Depot yesterday and saw they carry Weber wood chips and the price was $4.99 for a 3 lb bag and $6.99 for a 5 lb bag and I didn't have to pay for shipping because it is in the store and they carry all the flavors available here! I feel like a fool for not looking there first. Otherwise, they work great and the food had a nice flavor to it.

Great with a propane smoker Sep 14, 2011

I used these chips for smoking chickens and pork ribs. I love the sweet smoke flavor that only fruit woods can add to a BBQ. They worked out great for me and a little went a long way in the propane smoker.
