4Save your wrists when trimming the rosebushes!  Mar 28, 2008
By Mary D. Haper "Gramma to 3 boys"
I bought these gloves for my sister's birthday. She does a lot of bush and tree trimming and always has scratches on her lower arms. These gloves are heavy duty enough to last her many many years of garden work. They are of very good quality and the shipping was fast even though they did not come direct from Amazon. I would have rated them a 5 if they were a tad bit longer.

2green thumb for real  Sep 15, 2008

These gloves protect your wrists but the green die bleeds through them. after a day of sweaty work your hands turn green!!! no so fun. i'd pay the extra $$ for natural-color rose gloves if i had a 2nd chance-

4Lasts well  May 16, 2012
By The Lorax
I've been through multiple pairs of leather gloves in the past few years as I reclaim the yard from the woods and create drainage ditches to carry away the springtime ponding--hard work in yard, digging with fingers in the wet mud, shifting rocks etc. I like gauntlets to minimize the stuff that drops in and also protect from poison ivy.

The big plus with these gloves is that they haven't worn out all winter and spring which beats all other leather gloves I've bought so far. I am tough on gloves and only occasionally treat them well with saddlesoap and mink oil. They stand up well to frequent wetting. I just pop them on the boot dryer and they're good to go. The fingers on these gloves are still intact, no rips or tears AT ALL. Minor dislikes are: 1.) gauntlets are too short, 2.) the fitting/cut of the little finger is definitely odd--not placed properly or sized right so you always have a 3/4-inch empty tube at the end. However--All-star tough.
