4works well  Jul 04, 2009
By E. Carlson
This works well for extending the outdoor faucet to a more accessible location. My faucets are at ground level behind the bushes and now they are adjacent to a walkway. I wish the faucet handle was a little larger. when you drive it into the ground, use a board to protect the top from damage.

5As expected works great!  Jun 09, 2009
By B. Orlitzky
This is my second purchase because I forgot to turn the water off over the winter and it blew the hose connection but that's no fault of the product. I love this as it is very low profile and prevents me from having to do calisthenics in order to turn the water on in front of my town home. Strongly recommend this item to anyone whose faucet is located behind bushes or other plantings.

2Leaks where hose extension connects  Jul 31, 2010
By Lashier "Enjoy Music & Photography"
I ordered one of these after reading the positive reviews, and before the negative reviews of July 15 and July 25 were available. It appeared to be well made, and I dug a hole in hard soil to insert the post before I tried connecting the extension hose. After the post was set, I connected the extension hose and turned on the remote faucet. Water sprayed out of the hose connection even though I tightened the extension hose as tightly as I could. I then tried another new connection hose with a new washer, and it still leaked badly. I then removed everything and noted that the tube for the connecter was split at the brazing/welding seam. I sent it back to Amazon and it was exchanged for another that had the same problem. I have now returned it for credit, and will go back to reaching for the the remote faucet. I live in Southern California where water conservation is essential, and leaking hose connections are not acceptable. The Garden Hose Bib Extender is a great idea, but has a major flaw in the thin metal brazed/welded tube that connects the incoming extension hose and the faucet.

5Great idea!  May 21, 2009
By Rebecca Oglesby
This is a nifty little invention that really works. I have outdoor faucets that are almost at ground level and at the back of flowerbeds~ most inconvenient. I added these near my doorways, where I can easily turn sprinklers off & on without stooping or getting wet. No drawbacks, except that if I were to redesign them I'd make the in-ground stake a bit longer; they tend to pull over a bit in damp ground, but a little jiggle will set them right again.

4PRICEY-BUT WORTH IT  Jun 15, 2009
By B. ENG
This is a nice looking unit that does what it is designed for. It's a little expensive, I could have bought cheaper locally, but the appearance of this unit was worth the little extra. I only wish the ground stake length was a little longer, it's only about 5 inches, and I had to pound in rocks around it to stabilize the stake. Other than that, I like it.
